Glossary of Weird Words and Abbreviations

The PYS - The Protective Yet Shaming Monster, one among many gremlins that permeate this writer's existence day in and day out.

The100i.s.p.- 100 im.perfect.songs.project. Sung imperfectly. A project. BUT, as one TNK noticed, there's an ever-so-subtle play of points there, just between im and perfect. I'm.Perfect. In the world of song, we all are.

Rinse and repeat - a phrase borrowed from a divine page BFF named Allison. I use it to refer to the cyclical ways of being. Round and round the mountain we go until...we're ready for the next phase of instruction.

We are all meant to shine

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
- Marianne Williamson

More Words That Wow

"All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up."
- Pablo Picasso

"Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life." - Confucius

“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”
-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

On the lighter side, the following words are credited to Betty White but there's doubt. Doesn't matter. I think it's genius:

“Why do people say 'Grow some balls.'? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.” - author unknown
